英文会計検定試験では、アメリカの会計理論と帳簿に関する知識・実務能力を測ります。英文会計は国際的な会計基準として、これから多くの日本の企業で扱われます。英文会計検定試験は４級〜１級に分かれており、全て英語で行われます。

■1級
英文管理会計・財務会計の双方に対して広範なかつ深い知識を持ち、高い応用力を有している。
1. US.GAAP on asset,liability&stockholders equity
2. Earnings per share
3. Equity method
4. Consolidation

■2級
英文財務会計に関して全般的な理解があり、実務担当者に要求される知識を保持している。
1. Understanding of year-end closing procedures
2. Preparation of closing adjusting journal entry
3. Preparation of a working sheet
4. Adaption of the method of the lower of cost or market

■3級
英文会計の基礎的原理を把握し、記帳・決算などに関する初歩的な実務を理解している。
1. Understanding of basic accounting terminology
2. Understanding of American bookkeeping system
3. Use of ledger folio
4. Understanding of cross-reference system

■4級
英文会計、簿記の初歩的な知識を有する。
1. Bacic accounting knowledge
2. Understanding of chart of account
3. Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping (debit and credit)
4. Cash transaction
5. Sales transaction
